Job Description:

Pharmaceutical engineering requires skilled professionals who can ensure the commissioning, qualification, and start-up of various equipment and facilities.

Our company seeks a Computer System Validation Engineer to lead projects in Singapore. This role involves providing technical guidance on commissioning, qualification, and start-up of various equipment and facilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience in bioprocess systems or other process equipment utilities, facilities in pharma, biologics, aseptic fill-finish, and a strong understanding of GAMP and Data Integrity requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading teams of validation staff, managing staff priorities, providing mentorship/oversight, and helping staff resolve issues.

Key responsibilities include developing key qualification deliverables during the project lifecycle, preparing protocols, executing protocols, summarizing data, resolving deviations, and preparing final reports.

Travel may be required occasionally for meetings with clients, equipment fabrication vendors, or Factory Acceptance Testing (FATs).

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in commissioning, qualification, or validation of various systems within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Education: Engineering or Science degree, preferably in Automation, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Chemical, Biochemical, or a related discipline.
  • Skills: Excellent written and spoken English, knowledge of cGMP operations, including SOPs, Change Controls, Validation, and experience with developing and executing validation projects.
