Job Title: Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled sales professional to join our team as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth in assigned territories or market segments.
  • You will identify new business opportunities, cultivate leads, and manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Your strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment will enable you to effectively communicate with customers and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Your ability to build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships will be critical to your success in this role. You will conduct product presentations, equipment demonstrations, and technical discussions with potential clients, ensuring that they understand the value proposition of our products.
  • You will collaborate with engineering, marketing, and product teams to develop solutions that meet customer requirements, leveraging industry trends, market developments, and competitor activity to inform your business strategy.
  • In addition to sales responsibilities, you will participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote our company and its offerings, further enhancing your professional network and expertise.
  • You will also prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior leadership, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field is required, as is 3 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in pharmaceutical equipment or industrial machinery.
  • You must possess strong technical knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and equipment, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical sales environment is essential, as is your willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
