Job Title: Legal Advisor

We are seeking a seasoned Legal Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert legal advice and counsel to clients on various matters including project development, M&A, joint ventures, and legal affairs in the Asia Pacific region.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on complex projects, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.">
  • Draft, review, and negotiate documentation for project development activities, including joint venture and partnership agreements, corporate and commercial contracts, and development services agreements.">
  • Advise on project financing transactions, including loan and security documentation, and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.">
  • Work closely with the business and technical teams to develop and execute renewable energy projects, providing strategic legal advice and counsel as needed.">
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.">
  • Collaborate with external counsel and other stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Qualification as a legal practitioner in a common law jurisdiction with at least 4 – 6 years of relevant working experience.">
  • Degree / Masters in Law from a reputable international university.">
  • Training and experience working in an internationally recognised law firm and currently working either as (a) an in-house counsel at a recognized energy or infrastructure company or (b) a senior associate specialising in energy project development/M&A at a top-ranked law firm.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and lead complex projects.">
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, efficient, and resourceful, with strong follow-through and a passion for making things happen.">
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and engage effectively with all levels of staff and management.">
