We are seeking a skilled Electrical Quality Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical engineering and have experience in quality control processes.

Job Description:

The Electrical Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for conducting regular inspections to ensure that all electrical works meet the required standards. This includes verifying that method statements are approved by clients and consultants, and performing site checks to ensure that project requirements are met.

  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical works to ensure compliance with method statements.
  • Verify that all method statements used have obtained approval from clients and consultants.
  • Perform site checks on electrical works to ensure that project requirements are fully achieved.
  • Liaise with client inspectors/authorized inspectors to ensure that all necessary checks are completed.
  • Monitor the performance of subcontractor workers/vendors for all trades to resolve quality issues.
  • Execute quality control as per site-specific materials and works quality plans.
  • E nsure that all controlled documents are administered effectively.
  • Daily coordination of all site work activities for electrical installation.
  • C arry out verification of purchased products in vendor's premises as specified in contracts.
  • E nsure that all test equipment is properly calibrated.
  • M onitor undertaken corrective and preventive actions against non-conformities and its recurrence.
  • A ssess feedback on the construction process and procedures.
  • A rrange and liaise with BCA for CONQUAS assessments.
  • F ollow-up all required tests as per contract requirement.
  • A ttend regular site meetings – QA/QC, Site Coordination Meeting and Client Meeting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least a Polytechnic Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant QA/QC experiences.
  • A proven track record of hands-on project quality documentation in construction quality with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical (ie piping, ducting, ACMV) and electrical systems installation.
  • Substantial hands-on project quality documentation in construction sector.
  • Candidates may be assigned to project at Tuas area.
  • Willingness to work at Tuas with transportation pick up at designated MRT station.
