Job Title: Procurement and Contract Specialist

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Contract Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of procurement and contractual matters across various projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Tender Management: Review tender documents, conditions of contract, and design drawings to identify commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Cost Estimation and Control: Establish and maintain robust cost estimation and control procedures across projects.
  • Contract Administration: Provide leadership and direction on ongoing project commercial issues and promote best practices in contract administration and commercial governance.
  • Supplier Selection: Evaluate suppliers/subcontractors based on historical performance, product/service quality, delivery timelines, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.

To succeed in this role, you should have a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years' experience in civil engineering or infrastructure projects, including pre- and post-contract roles. Proven leadership experience within a main contractor environment is ideal.
