Procurement and Contract Specialist

A highly experienced professional sought to lead the procurement and contract function, driving strategic value through effective management of contracts with main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- This role oversees all contractual matters across projects, ensuring alignment with company interests and regulatory standards.
- The incumbent will prepare and review agreements, variation orders, and EOT claims, while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading the procurement and contract team in contractual matters, including managing contracts with main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Preparing and reviewing agreements, variation orders, and EOT claims, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Overseeing cost control, procurement schedules, progress payments, and final account settlements.
- Resolving disputes, variation claims, and developing strategies for effective EOT management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management / Civil Engineering &/ Building related fields.
- Min 10 years experience in contract administration, with 8 years in a supervisory role leading Quantity Surveyors.
- Strong knowledge of construction/contract law and standard forms of contract (PSSCOC, SIA, LTA, REDAS, FIDIC, NEC).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with integrity and a results-driven mindset.
