Sea Freight Leader

Job Summary:

As a seasoned logistics professional, you will play a crucial role in leading our sea freight operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance top line and bottom line performance of the sea freight department.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and achieve annual KPI targets.
  • Improve productivity by maximizing the use of technology and optimizing processes.
  • Analyze data to identify cost reduction opportunities and propose effective solutions.
  • Organize and delegate tasks to ensure seamless execution of daily operations.
Operational Requirements:
  • Prepare and execute freight bills, invoices, and reports.
  • Generate customized reports for customers as needed.
  • Provide analytical support to management on key performance indicators.
  • Attend meetings with customers to discuss shipment issues and resolve concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on sea freight.
  • Experience with declarators is highly valued.
  • Degree or diploma in logistics management or supply chain management is required.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills are essential.
