Job Title: Senior Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our team at Careers@Gov. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing various engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver projects successfully.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and other team members, to ensure projects are delivered to the required quality standards and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the required quality standards and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including health and safety, environmental, and quality management.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a civil engineering or construction environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
