Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cafe Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to multitask and work well under pressure.

The Cafe Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including managing stock levels, training new staff members, and ensuring that all areas of the cafe are clean and tidy. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for cash handling, preparation of beverages and desserts, and managing customer complaints in a professional manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing stock levels and placing orders as necessary
  • Training new staff members on cafe procedures and protocols
  • Overseeing the cleanliness and organization of the cafe
  • Cash handling and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Preparing beverages and desserts to a high standard
  • Managing customer complaints and providing excellent customer service
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Leadership and management experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask
  • Knowledge of coffee making and food preparation techniques
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
