Job Title: Managing Director, Asia Pacific

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced sales leader to join our team as Managing Director, Asia Pacific. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for leading our sales efforts in the APAC region, driving revenue growth, and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy for the APAC region, aligning with our company's overall commercial objectives.
  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure they meet or exceed their targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your network and expertise to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring strong partnerships and a deep understanding of their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments, providing insights and recommendations to inform our commercial strategy.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a sales leader in the APAC region, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer bases.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of sales experience in the life science, diagnostics, or medtech industry, with a focus on consultative sales.
  • Strong network of trusted contacts in the hospital and private NGS lab space.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as computing, life science, or business.
