Job Description

This role is responsible for providing professional case management services to vulnerable families. The successful candidate will be required to assess risks, develop case plans, and advocate on behalf of clients to ensure equal access to opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Casework and Counselling: Identify and assess risks inherent in cases, use professional tools to guide staff in case assessment and planning, and represent the centre in its advocacy efforts.
  • Groupwork and Community Work: Participate in client/community assessments, group/community work processes, and specialized intervention strategies.
  • Operational Managerial Skills: Support Assistant Senior/Senior/Lead Professionals in implementing operational and practice protocols, processes, and policies.
Requirements
  • A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work from an accredited institution/Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Inclination towards research and planning is an advantage.
  • Core competencies include relational skills, ability to understand client groups and manage risk and protective factors, reflective practice, stakeholder engagement, knowledge of systems and availability of resources, empowerment of clients, identification of available resources and social gaps, cultural understanding and social sensitivity.
  • Technical competencies include competence in MS Office skills.
