Job Title: Senior Technical Drawing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled technical drafter to join our team. As a technical drafter, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 2D and 3D drawings of machinery components.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare technical 2D drawings of machining components, gas line tubing, and sheet metal based on MBD drawings with step files.
  • Create assemble modular drawings and generate work instructions.
  • Review customer drawings, create internal drawings if necessary, and ensure all dimensions are accurate.
  • Generate 3D drawings for complex parts based on pdf files.
  • Design fixtures for assembly, polishing (lay pattern, honing), leak testing, load testing, and machining (clamping).
  • Compare and release new revision drawings to document control, resolving any drawing issues that arise.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or higher in an engineering-related field.
  • At least 2 years' experience working as a drafter using CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with ASTM specs, ASME Y14.5M-1994 & ASME Y , ISO norms, and conventional drafting stations.
  • Knowledge of GD&T specifications, welding (AWS), and semiconductor components processes.
  • Proficiency in DOS, MS Office, and PowerPoint, with knowledge of ERP systems like Epicor an advantage.
