Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our technology deployments and operational initiatives across our store network. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that deployments are well-planned, stores are ready, and initiatives are executed with minimal disruption to day-to-day operations.

About the Role

This is a critical position within our Delivery Governance team, requiring a trusted deputy who can support portfolio-level governance while driving day-to-day operational excellence, vendor management, and team development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deployment Planning & Execution:
    • Develop and manage end-to-end rollout plans for store initiatives (POS upgrades, process changes, innovation pilots, etc.)
    • Coordinate deployment activities across project teams, vendors, and store operations
    • Ensure rollouts are executed smoothly, on schedule, and with minimal impact to store operations
  • Store Readiness & Adoption:
    • Assess readiness of each store, including infrastructure, training, and staff preparedness
    • Work with store managers and ops teams to ensure clear communication of deployment timelines and expectations
    • Track adoption and user feedback post-rollout to ensure changes land effectively
    • Identify potential deployment risks and put mitigation plans in place
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in IT deployment, rollout or project delivery, ideally in retail / store environments
  • A proven track record of leading successful store rollouts or large-scale deployments
  • Solid understanding of POS systems, store operations and retail technology environments preferred
