We are seeking a skilled Traffic Signal Systems Engineer to join our team at Careers@Gov. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the development, operation, and maintenance of road electrical and mechanical systems.
ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be responsible for participating in feasibility studies, project planning, tender reviews, design reviews, installations, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and documentation of traffic signal systems. They will also oversee site supervision works, coordinate with various parties to manage modifications and relocations of traffic light-related equipment, conduct quality and safety checks on contractor works, and verify job measurement sheets submitted by contractors.
In addition, the successful candidate will assist in administering traffic light maintenance contracts, liaise with external parties on their programs, coordinate site works to ensure timely completion, and manage public feedback.
The engineer will also explore new technologies to enhance and improve traffic signal systems, as well as manage feedback from the public, other government agencies, and private developers.
Requirements- Tertiary qualification in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering
- Team player with good interpersonal and coordination skills
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Highly motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Preferably holding a valid Class 3 driving license
