Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the development, management, and governance of a centralized Materials Library. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing materials selection, qualities, and library processes across multiple brands.


About Your Role

The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical knowledge of materials, strong analytical capabilities, and project management experience. They will be accountable for streamlining material selection, development, and life cycle processes, while ensuring alignment and collaboration with global materials development and sourcing leaders.

The role requires a strong ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will also have proven success in seasonal negotiation cycles and managing complex global supplier relationships.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will be technically fluent in both FW and EQ materials and have strong business acumen. They will be a connector and influencer who can naturally align cross-functional teams and drive change.


Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Establishing, operationalizing, and governing a centralized Global Materials Library across multiple brands.
  • Defining and implementing processes to rationalize material development requests and reduce redundancies.
  • Governing and maintaining data attributes and metadata necessary to enable material consolidation and strategic leverage.
  • Leading seasonal and lifecycle core material reviews to evaluate relevance, usage, and library optimization.
  • Partnering with Materials Sourcing leaders and Product Leaders within our brands to add or sunset material libraries based on business needs.
  • Creating and publishing leveraged cost-saving opportunities and measuring quarterly targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Materials expert with deep technical knowledge in materials.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and project management experience.
  • Accountable for streamlining material selection, development, and life cycle processes.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven success in seasonal negotiation cycles and managing complex global supplier relationships.
  • Technically fluent in both FW and EQ materials and strong business acumen.
  • A connector and influencer who can naturally align cross-functional teams and drive change.
