Job Description

We're seeking a skilled security professional to join our team as a Network Security Specialist. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing secure networks to safeguard our systems against cyber threats.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls or similar security technologies. They'll be responsible for setting up and managing firewalls, creating and applying network security policies, monitoring and responding to security threats, and helping with troubleshooting network and security problems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage secure networks to protect against cyber threats.">
  • Set up and manage firewalls (especially Palo Alto or similar).">
  • Create and apply network security policies.">
  • Monitor and respond to security threats or issues.">
  • Help with troubleshooting network and security problems.">
  • Work with teams to improve overall network security.">
  • Document your work and processes clearly.">
  • Stay up to date with new security tools and threats.">

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in network or security roles.">
  • Strong knowledge of Palo Alto firewalls (or similar tools like Fortinet, Cisco, etc.).">
  • Good understanding of network basics (IP, VPNs, firewalls, routing).">
  • Experience with security tools (IDS/IPS, VPNs, threat monitoring).">
  • Certifications like PCNSE, CISSP, or CCNP Security are highly valued.">
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.">
