This position is ideal for individuals with a solid background in enterprise firewall management, network architecture, and security best practices.

  • Network Management: Collaborate to develop and implement robust network security strategies using Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls. Ensure seamless integration and minimize potential vulnerabilities.
  • Security Governance: Develop policies and procedures for managing firewall rule sets, ensuring alignment with organizational risk posture and compliance requirements.
  • Cybersecurity Operations: Troubleshoot complex network security issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment by mentoring junior team members, sharing knowledge, and driving process improvements within the cybersecurity group.
Requirements & Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing enterprise firewalls (NGFW, VPN, IPS/IDS)
  • Experience with Algosec for firewall policy automation (desired)
  • Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, routing/switching)
  • Familiarity with cloud security platforms (AWS/Azure firewalls) is a plus
  • Certifications such as PCNSE (Palo Alto), NSE (Fortinet), or CISSP/CCSP are beneficial
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
