Job Description:

  • To lead a team of engineers in developing multiple large language model (LLM) solutions, you will work closely with the Solutions lead to implement technical priorities and standards for delivering and managing technology solutions.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the adequacy and effectiveness of our tech frameworks and stacks to deliver production-ready solutions that can be implemented at scale within the NUHS cluster and potentially beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Work as a Software Engineer (SWE) part of the LLM Team under Solutions.
  • Support all 'to production' related activities with your teammates for LLM.
  • Spend 90% of your time on development-related work contributing to projects, committing code, and performing code reviews for your team members when required.
  • Coordinate with the team lead and colleagues on duties relevant to the LLM Team spending the balance 10% of your time.
  • Collaborate with healthcare IT teams to integrate cloud-based solutions with existing on-premises systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
  • Assist in architectural diagramming and SRB clearance for all cloud solutions in the department.
  • Guide more junior Software Engineers in the GCTO team and troubleshoot problems to achieve the end goal.
  • Assist the LLM Team Lead in organizing local AI/Tech conferences, showcasing NUHS AI/Tech capabilities to attract further talents.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science from a recognizable university with a strong science or technical background.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in tech delivery.
  • Experience working with and coordinating with multiple development teams.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with DevOps teams using AWS/Azure/Alibaba/Google Cloud.
  • Working experience with on-prem teams is desirable.
  • Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes is a bonus.
  • Full-stack engineering experience with C#/ Java and Python is required.
  • Front-end experience with Reach, Angular is necessary.
  • Mobile experience is welcome.
  • Data Visualization tools experience with Grafana, Tableau, PowerBI is essential.
  • Agile project management experience with Scrum, Kanban is desired.
  • Event-driven/messaging system experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ is necessary.
  • LLMs technologies experience is essential.
  • Machine Learning project experience is necessary.
  • Healthcare experience is a bonus but experience in verticals touching relevant needs is desired.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
