Research Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join our team in the Department of Biochemistry, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for curating and organizing existing clinical databases, assisting with deploying and validating algorithms using these databases, and performing related data analysis.

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Computer Science, or Biomedical Informatics, as well as professional certification or equivalent in Data Engineering. Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, and/or R are also required. Experience with clinical data analysis and interpretation is essential, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills. A strong problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently are also necessary.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and validation of biological ageing clocks for clinical translation and application using data science approaches involving machine learning and artificial intelligence.
