About Mobility & Industrial Solutions Division

The Mobility & Industrial Solutions (M&I) division plays a crucial role in developing and executing strategies that position Singapore competitively for various industries, including aerospace, industrial solutions, and emerging areas such as autonomous vehicles and advanced air mobility. As a member of this team, you will work with leading multinational companies to develop and execute strategies, ensuring that they can pursue new opportunities and partnerships from Singapore.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate/Manager, Mobility, you will be responsible for:

  • Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for EDB, overseeing the end-to-end process of account development, project negotiation, and execution, and client servicing.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships and build trust with key company executives.
  • Develop deep understanding of clients' multi-faceted needs and operations to implement and execute coherent client engagement strategies.
  • Identify, negotiate, and structure project opportunities to secure 'win-win' outcomes for clients and Singapore.
  • Collaborate with other teams in EDB and the Singapore Government for project development and smooth execution of end-to-end account management process.
Market Analysis

You will also be responsible for:

  • Building a sound understanding of the industry and business trends.
  • Participating in initiatives or thematic analysis relevant to the division.
  • Pre-empting common issues faced by clients or that may potentially impact them, and recommending and implementing solutions.
  • Providing input to appropriate teams in EDB and/or the rest of the Singapore Government on policies or product/service development.
Requirements

To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience in account management, industry development, strategy, policy, or a relevant industry role.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and put forth actionable solutions.
  • Keen sense of business acumen and experience in project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Self-motivated and positive attitude, excellent work ethic, and a team player.
