Job Title: Health Data Analyst Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Health Data Analyst Specialist to contribute to the development of a population-based modelling framework.

  • Lead or support the design and implementation of a modelling framework to estimate the health impacts of obesity prevention and management interventions.
  • Conduct literature reviews and synthesise evidence on intervention effectiveness, reach, and cost.
  • Collate and analyse quantitative datasets from multiple sources, including regional health system records.
  • Coordinate stakeholder engagement activities, including workshops, focus groups, and consultations.
  • Prepare manuscripts for academic publication and contribute to project reports and policy briefs.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We seek a candidate with:

  • A Master's degree in public health, epidemiology, health economics, biostatistics, or a related field.
  • Strong quantitative skills, ideally including familiarity with decision-analytic modelling, Markov models, DALYs, or HALE-based outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary environment.
  • Prior experience in health economic modelling or population health impact analysis is desirable.
  • Proficiency in statistical or modelling software (e.g., R, Stata, Python) is also desirable.
What We Offer

This full-time position offers a competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. The initial appointment is for 12 months, with the possibility of extension depending on performance and project needs.
