Director of Southeast Asia

A dynamic leader is sought to oversee public policy in Southeast Asia, shaping the region's engagement with key policymakers and stakeholders.

This role requires a seasoned professional with deep knowledge of the policymaking process and extensive experience working with governments and influencers across Southeast Asia.

The ideal candidate will develop and execute creative strategies that advance business priorities within the region, while ensuring compliance and fostering strong relationships with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and build relationships with SEA policymakers and political figures
  • Identify, monitor, and analyze policy issues affecting Roblox in Southeast Asia
  • Develop and execute policy strategies around issues important to Roblox
  • Assist the wider public policy team on ongoing projects and initiatives
  • Advise Roblox internal stakeholders on policy matters as inputs to the development of our products and business operations
  • Articulate Roblox's public policy positions and produce briefing papers and consultation responses

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Political Science, Public Policy, Law, International Relations, Media, Technology, or related field of study
  • 10+ years of experience working with policymakers and stakeholders across Southeast Asia
  • Deep knowledge of the Southeast Asia policymaking and public opinion process
  • Extensive experience in intelligence collection and analysis, strategy development, project management, cross-functional partnership
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
