Lead IT Infrastructure and Security Specialist

Description:

This role is responsible for overseeing the support, administration, security, and ongoing evolution of our technical infrastructure and cybersecurity posture. This involves managing office IT operations, network security, cloud platforms, and web sites. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and risk management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage office IT support and operations, including Microsoft, Apple, AWS, and Google platforms.
  • Oversee the support and operations of the SBI DM network, cloud platforms, and web sites.
  • Lead a team of support engineers and provide assistance as needed.
  • Monitor security alerts and events, respond accordingly, and lead forensic investigations.
  • Implement operational monitoring for SBI DM systems.
  • Design and deliver evolving changes to these platforms and cybersecurity posture.
  • Evaluate office and network security, perform audits, and penetration testing on a regular basis.
  • Manage external vendors, partners, and solution providers for project delivery and maintenance.
  • Evaluate and recommend technologies and vendors suitable for the SBI DM IT environment.
  • Develop technical assets, such as design documents, inventories, audit responses, and change management databases.
  • Participate in technical steering committees and meetings related to security or infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with senior technical staff and business stakeholders to set strategic direction, policies, and deliverables.
  • Work with the Compliance department to define policies and standards for risk mitigation and security.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • At least seven years of experience in IT, preferably in a financial services industry.
  • Experience in cybersecurity and risk management, including security design and incident handling.
  • Strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving, and customer management skills.
  • Familiarity with regional technology risk and cybersecurity regulations.
  • Preference for experience with multiple IT platforms, such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Apple iOS, AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
