Job DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to join our team.
This individual will perform routine and non-routine testing assignments within the department, ensuring timely and accurate test results under minimal supervision.
The role is based in Singapore and involves operating NDT testing onsite, including test arrangement, testing, and reporting.
You will be responsible for providing counsel to coworkers and customers requiring critical data analysis and assisting in developing novice technicians and engineers.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Material Science and possess deep knowledge of core theories, concepts, and terminology in the chosen engineering discipline.
You will also have specialized knowledge in multiple areas of engineering and be able to develop technical knowledge within our business context.
A strong understanding of testing concepts and computer skills are essential for this role.
Bonus points if you can apply basic algebra and geometry
Key Responsibilities- Operate NDT testing onsite, including test arrangement, testing, and reporting.
- Provide counsel to coworkers and customers requiring critical data analysis.
- Be responsible for SINGLAS Accreditation and assist in developing novice technicians and engineers.
- Utilize various skills, methods, procedures, and materials in advanced testing analysis.
- Read/translate construction drawings and technical requirements to reach testing conclusions.
- Present test results formally and informally to stakeholders.
- Review test reports to ensure regulatory compliance and inspection readiness.
- Develop and deliver technical training to laboratory colleagues.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Material Science.
- Deep knowledge of core theories, concepts, and terminology in the chosen engineering discipline.
- Specialized knowledge in multiple areas of engineering.
- Ability to develop technical knowledge within our business context.
