Job Opportunity: Civil & Structural Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil & Structural Engineer to fill this challenging role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil and structural engineering, with experience in designing and developing structural schemes for buildings and structures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To collaborate with the Qualified Person (QP) to develop structural schemes for buildings and structures.
  • To perform engineering analysis to assess stability and load capacity of structures.
  • To design structures in accordance with Eurocodes or relevant international design codes.
  • To prepare submissions for approval from authorities.
  • To provide technical advice to team members and colleagues.
  • To attend project meetings with clients, project managers, and consultants from other disciplines.
  • To lead junior engineers in delivering designs and seek clearance from relevant parties.
  • To conduct supervision and contract administration when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognized by Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in building design from a local engineering consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with codes of practice, regulations, and authority submission procedures.
  • Competency in relevant engineering software.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • Able to interact and work with colleagues and consultants at various levels.
