Job Title: Airport Operations Agent

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring all equipment and vehicles are properly inspected and serviced, adhering to strict safety protocols.

  • Conduct pre- and post-operation checks on equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damage to supervisors in a timely manner.

  • Perform Foreign Object Debris (FOD) walks on aircraft parking stands to prevent accidents.

  • Utilize manual marshalling techniques or operate the Aircraft Docking Guidance System (ADGS) at aircraft parking stands to ensure efficient operations.

  • Place and remove aircraft wheel chocks and safety cones based on airlines' specific requirements.

  • Ensure all vehicles and equipment are free from Foreign Object Debris (FOD) to maintain a secure working environment.

  • Participate in general loading and unloading operations, handling cargo with care to prevent damage.

  • Assist in the docking and withdrawing of Passenger Loading Bridges (PLBs).

  • Analyze Container Pallet Messages (CPM) and Loading Instruction Reports (LIR) to optimize cargo handling.

  • Act as a mentor to new team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to enhance their skills.

  • Comply with workplace safety and health policies, security protocols, and airport regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum secondary education and above is required for this position.

  • Possession of a valid LTA Class 3 driving license or equivalent state driving license is mandatory.

  • The ability to obtain an Airfield Driving Permit (ADP) after completing the Airfield Rules & Regulations Course (ARRC) and passing the CAG Airfield Rules Test (ART) and Airside Driving & Safety Compliance Test (ADSCT) is essential.

  • The ability to upgrade the Airfield Driving Permit after attending internal Class 4D and Class 5S Training and passing respective driving tests conducted by internal instructors and testers is also required.
