Highly Skilled Procurement Specialist Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Professional to join our team.
- This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to work in procurement and be part of a dynamic team supporting various projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:- Supporting project-related procurement aspects by working closely with the Project SCM Manager;
- Reporting on appointed buys' total production cost, supplier timely delivery, and quality performance;
- Managing material costing for appointed systems and meeting budgetary requirements;
- Ensuring timely delivery of appointed systems and supplementing Master Production Schedules (MPS);
- Providing support under SCM commodity and competency sections;
- Working with SCM-MMD groups on appointed System/Buys delivery, warehousing, and material distribution;
- Collaborating with SCM-SQM groups on appointed System/Buys' supplier quality performance;
- Engaging with designers for their eBOM and drawings for fabrications of parts required;
- Working with designers, QA, and ME to ensure FA/Print-Review for all CAT1 suppliers;
- Identifying and highlighting potential risks to Project SCM Managers to avoid any disruption to production supply;
- Identifying and determining LLT, EUC purchases, and potential sole sources for project material purchases;
- Updating and sharing with suppliers changes to product/drawings specifications (ECOs) and material delivery requirements according to MPS;
- Responsible for appointed system/buys PO issuances and monitoring PO status and overdue reports; and assisting the Finance Department to resolve any issues.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields;
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in a similar industry;
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Familiarity with SCM systems and processes;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask;
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
