Job Title: Data Engineering Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineering Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure infrastructure for data engineering workloads.

You will develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for data pipelines and software deployment, collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to streamline data ingestion, processing, and storage, automate deployment, monitoring, and alerting for data services, and ensure system security, availability, and performance across datapipelines and services.

To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, 1-2 years of experience in DevOps, Data Engineering, or similar roles, familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and data orchestration concepts, experience with at least one major cloud services provider (Amazon/Azure/GCP), knowledge of modern data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow/Dagster/Prefect, and solid understanding of Python and SQL.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of data transformation frameworks like DBT
  • Ability to design and implement scalable data architectures
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing and data lake architectures
