Primary Chinese Tutor

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate Primary Chinese Tutor to deliver engaging Chinese language lessons for students in Primary 1–6, aligning with the latest MOE syllabus.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chinese Language, Education, or a related field, with a strong command of spoken and written Mandarin, and the ability to explain concepts in English.

A familiarity with the MOE Chinese syllabus for Primary level is also essential, as well as prior teaching or tutoring experience, although not necessary. However, patience, encouragement, and a passion for teaching are essential qualities for this role.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver engaging Chinese language lessons for students in Primary 1–6, aligning with the latest MOE syllabus
  • Develop lesson plans that cater to oral, writing, reading, and comprehension skills, ensuring student progress and retention
  • Provide constructive feedback on assignments and track student progress, collaborating closely with parents to support learning
  • Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters student growth and development
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chinese Language, Education, or a related field
  • Strong command of spoken and written Mandarin, with the ability to explain concepts in English
  • Familiarity with the MOE Chinese syllabus for Primary level
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred, but not necessary
