Chinese Curriculum Developer

We are seeking an experienced and innovative educator to design, implement, and enhance a comprehensive Chinese language curriculum for Preschool and Primary school levels.

This is a key role within our organization, responsible for developing high-quality educational content that meets the needs of young learners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood and primary education, with expertise in curriculum development, instructional design, and language acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive Chinese language curriculum frameworks, lesson plans, and assessments tailored to the developmental stages of Preschool and Primary learners.
  • Create age-appropriate teaching resources, activities, and multimedia content to support curriculum delivery and engage young learners.
  • Conduct regular evaluations of the curriculum and make data-driven recommendations for revisions to ensure alignment with educational standards and student needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to teachers in implementing the curriculum, including delivering training workshops and instructional coaching.
  • Stay informed of current trends in early language education, integrating pedagogical best practices and cultural relevance into curriculum design.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Chinese Language, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in curriculum development or Chinese language instruction at the Preschool and/or Primary level.
  • Strong understanding of child development and language acquisition in young learners.
  • Proficient in written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin); English proficiency is an advantage.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
