We are in search of a skilled Product Development Engineer to spearhead the creation of cutting-edge products that drive innovation. This role requires a highly motivated and innovative individual who can quickly analyze complex scenarios and develop effective solutions. You must have a strong understanding of FPGA products, design, and applications, as well as experience in silicon test methodologies and implementation. Additionally, you should be able to work effectively in a collaborative environment and communicate complex ideas clearly.
In this position, you will be working on a wide range of projects, from designing and developing new products to troubleshooting and optimizing existing ones. You will also be responsible for mentoring junior engineers and influencing others as a subject matter expert. If you are a results-driven professional with a passion for product development, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute new product evaluations and first silicon debugs to ensure timely production ramp-up.
2. Develop innovative test methodologies to target the highest level of product quality for Automotive market segments.
3. Analyze technical issues and generate cost-effective solutions for production ramp.
4. Facilitate the development of new business opportunities by addressing customer requirements for out-of-spec use cases.
5. Actively participate in cross-functional teams to efficiently debug product failures and develop optimal solutions.
6. Develop customer-specific solutions with full product cycle technical support, feasibility verification, and project management throughout the entire product development process.
7. Engage with partners and internal teams on key technical topics and issues, steering multi-party discussions toward a consensus.
8. Coordinate on-time delivery of all engineering project deliverables into customer development projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 10+ years of experience in the computing industry with solid understanding of FPGA products, design, and applications.
* Strong knowledge in silicon test methodologies and implementation.
* Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across various geographies to debug silicon and customer issues and drive resolution.
* Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new technical concepts.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple internal functional organizations.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit to drive team results.
