Senior Associate Role

Collyer Law LLC invites experienced dispute resolution lawyers to join our corporate boutique practice as Senior Associates or Legal Directors. We seek professionals with a strong background in commercial disputes, litigation, and arbitration.

This dynamic role involves managing a diverse portfolio of cases, drafting legal documents, and directing trial preparation. You will represent clients effectively in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations, striving for outcomes that align with their best interests.

As a Senior Associate, you will lead and work with junior lawyers, actively support other Directors, and provide strategic legal advice. You will be an effective communicator who can articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively in a fast-paced legal environment.


Key Responsibilities Include:
  1. Manage a diverse portfolio of litigation and dispute resolution cases, including commercial disputes, international arbitration, and regulatory matters.
  2. Draft, review, and manage the filing of legal documents.
  3. Direct all facets of trial preparation, from discovery through to the development and execution of robust trial strategies.
  4. Represent clients effectively in negotiations, mediations, and arbitrations.
  5. Lead and work with junior lawyers as well as actively support other Directors in the firm.
  6. Provide strategic legal advice, ensuring the client's needs are addressed with the utmost professionalism and efficiency.
Key Requirements Include:
  1. A Singapore-qualified advocate and solicitor with 6-12 years' post-qualification experience, preferably from a reputable law firm in disputes.
  2. Reliable and responsible team member with a passion for advocacy.
  3. A proven ability to navigate and resolve complex legal issues with a practical and commercial approach.
  4. Resilience under pressure, with a proven track record of managing tight deadlines and delivering results.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to interact confidently with clients and develop business proactively.
  7. Team player who can work in a multi-cultural and collegiate law-firm environment.
