English Language Teacher Position

We are seeking a highly skilled English language teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging literacy lessons, teaching writing, grammar, and composition, as well as facilitating oral presentation and communication activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver phonemic awareness, reading fluency, and comprehension lessons
  • Teach writing, grammar, editing, and composition to older learners
  • Facilitate oral presentation and communication activities
  • Conduct 1-to-1 and ad hoc replacement lessons
  • Support centre events such as student assessments and open houses

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Teaching, Education, Early Childhood, English, Linguistics, or a related field
  • Experience: Preferably at least 2 years of teaching experience in enrichment, international schools, or private education settings
  • Language Proficiency: Strong command of English with a clear, neutral accent
  • Skills: Excellent communication, professionalism, teamwork, lesson planning, parent-teacher communication, learning needs analysis, student engagement, literacy, classroom management, interpersonal skills, early childhood education, composition, active listening, teaching phonics, teaching English, curriculum development
