Job Opening: Senior Business Leader - Marine Sector

The company is seeking a senior business leader to manage their marine operations in Singapore. This role involves developing and executing business strategies, overseeing daily operations, and maintaining strong financial performance.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading strategic planning, monitoring industry trends, and providing leadership and motivation to technical teams. You will also optimize resource allocation, manage the P&L, and drive business development activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading strategic planning and execution for the marine sector with clear growth targets.
  • Monitoring industry trends and identifying new market opportunities.
  • Providing leadership and motivation to technical teams.
  • Optimizing resource allocation and project delivery to meet business objectives.
  • Managing the P&L, including budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Master Mariner or relevant technical degree, 8+ years of experience in marine or offshore sectors, and proven success in managing teams and executing business plans.

You should have a strategic mindset, strong analytical and technical skills, and solid understanding of commercial and financial principles. Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills are also essential.

Additional requirements include:

  • A Master Mariner or relevant technical degree.
  • 8+ years of experience in marine or offshore sectors.
  • Practical experience with marine operations, vessel inspections, or offshore consultancy.
  • Proven success in managing teams and executing business plans.
  • Knowledge of the offshore oil & gas industry and marine engineering consultancy.
  • A strategic mindset with strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Solid understanding of commercial and financial principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
