Automation Systems Engineer

This role is focused on the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems in a high volume production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as knowledge of robotics and automated systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and commission automation systems in GE Aerospace facilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical operational machines in shops
  • Collect and analyze data on machine performance in shops
  • Conduct basic user training in shop
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Mechatronics or related discipline
  • Minimum Higher NITEC holders with 2-3 years relevant work experience
  • Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting (mechanical and electrical) robotics or/and automated equipment in high volume production environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Responsible, accountable and dependable of good work
  • Team player; able to work across functions
