**Job Title:** Automation Systems Specialist

**About the Role:** We are seeking a skilled Automation Systems Specialist to join our Operations Excellence Team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation systems on the manufacturing level to optimize production processes. This challenging role will involve overseeing the maturity and maintenance of installations, contributing to strategic planning, carrying out feasibility studies, ensuring optimal functionality of Industrial IT/OT systems, and maintaining an overview of systems and software applications.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations, train employees on system usage, and deploy temporary engineers/consultants when necessary. The role will require 30-50% travel and you will report to the Director of Process and Industrial Projects.

To excel in this role, you should have a solid understanding of automation systems and tools, familiarity with different automation technologies, strong project management skills, effective communication abilities, and a continuous learning mindset.

Problem-solving skills, experience in the automation field, and knowledge of relevant directives and norms are also essential. A Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical/Automation, Mechatronics, or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in MS Office tools and fluency in English and the local language.

Key Responsibilities:
