Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of transportation equipment
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and identify solutions
- Interact with clients to gather information regarding equipment performance and issues
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all service activities
- Conduct inspections and prepare reports on equipment condition
- Collaborate with the parts department to ensure timely acquisition of necessary components
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- Proven experience as a service technician in the transportation or logistics industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and teamwork
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to service locations
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools for equipment repair
