We are seeking a reliable and skilled Transportation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of clients to and from designated locations.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure clients are safely transported to and from any designated location, adhering to the arranged schedule.
• Maintain vehicle safety equipment, including wheelchairs restraint, fire extinguisher, first aid box, and seat belts, at all times.
• Regularly check, maintain, and service vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Prioritize client safety at all times, including securely fastening seat belts, securing wheelchairs in the vehicle, and other necessary precautions.
Cleanliness and Maintenance:
Maintain both interior and exterior cleanliness of vehicles at all times.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Provide transporting services within the organization as requested, including banking, mailing, and hand delivery of documents to any premises within the organization.
• Perform daily preventive checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition for the next working day's operation.
• Adhere to the company's contingency plan and transport standard operating procedure in the event of an emergency.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Possess class 3 driving license with a good driving record
• Able to communicate and read in simple English
• First Aid/AED/CPR certification preferred
• Good public relations skills
• Mature and pleasant personality
• Ability to start within short notice
