Job Opportunity: Funeral Coordinator

About the Role

The Funeral Coordinator plays a vital role in coordinating funeral arrangements and providing exceptional client service.

This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and other stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manning call center hotlines and establishing prompt follow-up actions to ensure seamless communication with clients
  • Coordinating funeral arrangements, including transfers to funeral homes
  • Conducting client meetings within office premises, on-site visits, and over virtual communication platforms
  • Working closely with operations staff and Finance Team to achieve shared goals
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese languages to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients and Chinese monks
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, requiring adaptability and effective time management
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, and independent in completing tasks
  • Possession of a Class 3 driver's license for efficient transportation of the dearly departed
  • Relevant industry experience is an advantage, but not essential
  • Comfortable working in the funeral industry, which requires flexibility and empathy
  • Able to perform shift work, including Public Holidays and Overtime, as required
