Weekend Bicycle Mover Position

We are looking for a reliable and physically able individual to join our team as a Weekend Bicycle Mover.

Your main responsibility will be to ensure that bicycles are available at the right locations. You will identify overcrowded stations, clear excessive bikes, and top up bicycles at high-demand locations on weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clear out excessive bicycles from overstocked stations.
  • Restock and arrange bicycles at busy stations to meet user demand.
  • Monitor station conditions and adjust bicycle distribution accordingly.
  • Perform basic maintenance checks to ensure bicycles are safe and ready for use.
  • Support urgent operational needs and special clearance tasks when required.
  • Collect damaged or faulty bicycles at designated points for repair collection.
Requirements:
  • Able to work independently and responsibly.
  • Physically able to move / carry a 20KG bicycle.
  • Comfortable working in an outdoor environment.
  • Able to commit to weekend shifts.
  • Owns a mobile device with data plan.

No prior experience is required - comprehensive training will be provided. This role is ideal for those who enjoy working outdoors and contributing to a sustainable urban mobility system.

Working Details:
  • Work Location: East Coast Park / Central area.
  • Work Duration: Various shifts available.
  • Work Days: Weekends only.
  • Hourly Rate: $12/hr.
  • Public Holiday Rate: 1.5× hourly pay.
  • Minimum Commitment Period: 3 months.
  • Uniform: Provided (covered shoes required).
