As the Head of Critical Facilities, you will be responsible for managing our data centers in the APAC region, ensuring they operate in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the critical physical infrastructure of our data centers, maintaining high availability and performance while ensuring high-quality work is performed without impacting internal or external customers.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to standardize operations across sites and implement PUE optimization programs to improve efficiency.
  • Manage teams of 24x7 engineers and technicians, overseeing the operation and management of routine and emergency services on critical systems such as switchgear, generators, UPS systems, and more.
  • Engage in improvement projects, driving them from conception to completion, and act as an escalation point for data center facilities-related issues and failures.
  • Participate in new facility and infrastructure design teams, ensuring all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work.
  • Manage incident response, including communicating and coordinating activities and on-site staff during complex customer-impacting incidents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in directly managing a data center or multiple data centers, with a focus on MEP systems.
  • Experience in managing the full life cycle of Data Centre assets and working with Engineering teams to replace or refurbish old assets within a 'live' Data Centre environment.
  • Executive mentality and EQ, with the ability to collaborate with various types of people, from DC techs to C-level customers.
  • Big-picture thinker with a growth mindset, able to innovate and drive change.
  • Tireless energy and positivity to recruit, motivate, and create high-performing teams.
