Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced System Maintenance Manager to lead our team in maintaining the Automatic Fare Collection System, ensuring its safety, reliability, and availability meet required standards.

About the Role

  • Maintain the Automatic Fare Collection System to ensure safety, reliability, and availability meet agreed standards with Operating Department and Transit-Link.
  • Ensure systems and facilities are maintained without major interruption and AFC availability meets Performance Index requirements.
  • Investigate AFC technical failures for AFC equipment.
  • Plan and execute AFC equipment maintenance according to frequency given by Regulator.
  • Review engineering design and lead investigation into technical failures or recommend best technical solution to improve system performance.
  • Liaise and participate with LTA for software/hardware modification and testing.
  • Manage AFC maintenance cost effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication/Computer Engineering.

  • Strong writing and IT-related skills.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Knowledge of firewall and network configuration.
  • Colour recognition ability.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in an office environment with occasional site visits to transit infrastructure.
