Senior Merchandising Leader

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Merchandising Leader to lead our merchandising strategies and plans for the category in charge.

  • Develop assortment strategy, product selection, and category plans to drive market trends and generate sales demands.
  • Establish channel allocations across retail, franchise, wholesale & e-commerce and determine overall product category mix, margin, and pricing strategies.
  • Analyze sales forecasts, monthly margin, and sell-through data by category to inform merchandising plans.
  • Manage product lifecycle across channels in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct detailed sales, sell-through, inventory, and margin analysis to optimize merchandising strategies.
  • Develop promotion strategies and calendars with collaboration from Retail, Marketing, and Wholesale teams.
  • Partner with marketing, wholesale, and retail departments to launch seasonal trade shows with wholesale accounts and franchise partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, merchandising, or related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of merchandising experience.
  • Proven track record of driving financial success through strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of budgetary concepts and financial acumen.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Meticulous, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of brand and product requirements.
  • Ability to deliver sales targets, develop budgets, and forecast demand.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
