Job Overview

The Emission Data Management Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of customer data related to environmental regulations and CO₂ reporting.

  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer inquiries via the DATE portal, addressing their concerns and resolving queries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the DATE Centre Asia team based in Singapore, while maintaining a dotted line reporting structure to the Head of Customer Support in Poland to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
  • Utilize DNV's digital tools to verify CO₂ emissions, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in additional business-related tasks, including global communication, maintenance of an internal knowledge database, and continuous improvement of our tools.

This role is perfect for individuals passionate about IMO regulatory compliance and eager to support ship owners and managers navigate the evolving landscape of environmental requirements, particularly concerning greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

As a member of a dynamic team collaborating closely with internal units and external stakeholders, you will deliver high-quality support and services. Although prior expertise in environmental regulations is beneficial, comprehensive training will be provided by GHG regulatory compliance experts to develop your skills and grow within the role.

To excel in this position, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, Environmental Technologies, or a related field. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in the maritime industry or shipping operations. Strong English language skills and a keen interest in data, technical troubleshooting, and system investigation are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries related to environmental regulations and CO₂ reporting via the DATE portal.
  • Ensure that customer queries are resolved in time and with a professional manner.
  • Utilize DNV's digital tools to verify CO₂ emissions and ensure compliance.
  • Part of the DATE Centre Asia team, located in Singapore but dotted reporting line to the Head of Customer Support in Poland to ensure service consistency and quality.
  • Participate in additional business-related tasks, such as global communication to internal and external stakeholders, maintenance of an internal knowledge database, or continuous improvement of our tools.

This role is well-suited for individuals passionate about IMO regulatory compliance and eager to help ship owners and managers navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of environmental requirements, particularly those concerning greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

You will be part of a dynamic team collaborating closely with internal units and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality support and services.
