We are seeking a skilled and dedicated professional to join our team as a surgical care specialist in an operating theatre (OT) setting.
The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Nursing, with experience in OT settings, and at least 1-2 years of working experience. A valid Singapore Nursing Board Registration is also required.
This role involves working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth surgical procedures and provide excellent patient support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in surgeries as a scrub and/or circulating nurse, ensuring sterile techniques and safe handling of surgical instruments.
- Prepare OT equipment and provide pre- and post-operative care while maintaining safety and infection control standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to established surgical workflows and protocols.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and healthcare teams to ensure smooth surgical procedures and patient support.
- Provide front-line service by welcoming and assisting patients and visitors with professionalism and care.
- Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and respond to inquiries at the reception counter.
- Handle billing and cashiering processes to ensure smooth and accurate transactions.
- Assist doctors during examinations and minor procedures, ensuring patient comfort and support.
- Monitor clinic inventory and guide patients with basic health education for home care.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Nursing, preferably with OT experiences.
- At least 1-2 years working experience.
- Valid Singapore Nursing Board Registration.
- Best with cannulation and injection skills.
