Job Title: Clinical Care Specialist

About the Role

The Clinical Care Specialist is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and support. This role requires exceptional clinical skills, a strong focus on teamwork, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Management:
    • Collaborate with doctors to prepare patients' case-notes for daily outpatient visits.
    • Perform physical clinical examinations alongside doctors.
    • Counsel patients on financial fees and related surgical and treatment procedures.
    • Deliver various nursing care procedures, such as wound dressing and post-surgical care advice.
    • Dispense medication to patients and manage billing when necessary.
  • Surgery Management:
    • Inspect and verify surgical items, medical equipment, and instruments before procedures.
    • Prepare and administer patients for surgery, including pre-surgical briefings, vital sign checks, and more.
    • Provide assistance to doctors during minor clinical surgeries and procedures.
    • Monitor patients' conditions and progress during recovery.
    • Ensure proper disposal of sharps and bio-hazards.
    • Prepare and pack surgical items/instruments for sterilization and disinfection.
    • Conduct routine stock checks and replenish supplies as needed.
    • Carry out other nursing duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid Singapore Nursing Board Practicing License.
  • At least 2-3 years of nursing experience in Medical Specialist/Clinic settings.
  • Possession of a valid OT/AU certificate or hospital testimonial is advantageous.
  • Experience working in an operating theater/anesthesia unit is also beneficial.
  • Individuals with excellent interpersonal skills who enjoy interacting with people are preferred.
  • Mandarin speakers are encouraged to apply, as effective communication with Mandarin-speaking clients is essential.
