Business Analyst Position Overview

This position is responsible for analysing data, producing business and functional requirement documentation, and presenting packs. The role also involves performing testing for SIT/UAT, preparing communications and training deliverables for operational readiness activities, and managing and tracking assigned projects to required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse data and produce business & functional requirement documentation, present findings to stakeholders.
  • Perform testing for SIT/UAT, identify and report defects.
  • Prepare communications and training deliverables for operational readiness activities, ensure stakeholders are informed of project status.
  • Manage and track assigned projects, plans, and deliverables to required standards, ensure timely completion.
  • Proactively manage communication of project status, issues, resolution, and risks to stakeholders.
  • Foster relationships with business and technology stakeholders, act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
  • Work with stakeholders to document requirements, develop strategic solutions, and implement best practices.
  • Support stakeholders across program lifecycle, including testing and operational readiness planning.
  • Implement change management processes to reduce risk profile, drive adherence to program processes and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in delivering transformation programs in a fast-paced, large global financial services firm.
  • Strong Program Management skills, able to track and maintain milestones independently.
  • Excellent analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills, ability to clearly document findings and proposals.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, ability to communicate technical and business issues and solutions.
  • Exercise independence of judgement/autonomy, operate with limited direct supervision.
