Job Description

As a Corporate Counsel, you will be responsible for supporting our real estate and colocation legal team, including transactional drafting and negotiating responsibilities on deals, and providing legal counsel and contract interpretation to business team members on a daily basis.

You will have excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and an eagerness to work closely with and be a trusted advisor to your business partners. In this role, you will structure, draft and negotiate agreements, help support our real estate and colocation's existing portfolio, manage outside counsel, and advise internal business clients.

In addition, you will help develop, implement, and manage process improvements across the team, resolve legal issues that arise in existing commercial relationships, and handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and negotiating complex, high-value agreements related to real estate and colocation.
  • Providing legal counsel and contract interpretation to business team members on a daily basis.
  • Structuring, drafting, and negotiating agreements to support our APJ data center expansion.
  • Managing outside counsel and advising internal business clients.
Requirements
  • A qualified lawyer with at least five years of post-qualification legal experience (with at least two years at a law firm) as a real estate lawyer.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating contracts in English.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
