Maritime Operations Executive

A key responsibility of a Maritime Operations Executive is to oversee the safe and efficient operation of product or chemical tankers. This includes ensuring all onboard activities are conducted in line with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To manage daily operations, including crew management, vessel tracking, and cargo handling.
  2. To ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  3. To identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains.
  4. To develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including shipping lines, ports, and other industry partners.
  5. To contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans, goals, and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field such as Shipping, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the maritime industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with maritime software systems and technologies.
