Healthcare Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a senior position focused on quality management, regulatory compliance, and operational support within the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain an effective Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
  • Investigate non-conformances and customer complaints, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Provide training and coaching for staff, enhancing their knowledge and skills in quality assurance processes.
  • Register training sessions into the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS) and generate reports to track progress.
  • Assist with documentation review and validation after operational activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect temperature data and monitor environmental temperature conditions to maintain a controlled environment.
  • Report day-to-day activities related to quality assurance processes, providing visibility and transparency.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts, fostering collaboration and cooperation.
  • Manage administrative tasks and responsibilities, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Promote a culture of quality within the organization, encouraging a proactive approach to quality improvement.
  • Perform regular physical checks for GMP and GDP compliance, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of pharmaceutical science work experience or prior Life Science internship experience.
  • Experience with ISO 13485 standards is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of GMP and/or GDP guidelines is beneficial.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
